How will the project improve things for those of us living in Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai - Lower Hutt, besides flood protection?

The project provides a unique opportunity to drive the transformation of the region's second largest city. This major infrastructure investment will be a catalyst for change, helping to foster urban renewal, new jobs, and homes. It’ll also make the river more accessible to more people.
