How will people walk and cycle around the area while RiverLink is built?

There will be changes around the city when RiverLink is under construction. Areas of the riverbanks and streets and roads will need to be temporarily closed at times, to keep everybody safe. Walking and cycling will be even more important, as there will also be impacts to some of the city’s large parking areas. Keeping up-to-date and regular communications with the community, and especially those groups that use the corridor, is a key aspect of this that’s required through the proposed conditions.

We’ll provide temporary walking and cycling routes as best we can, and open new routes as early as possible, so that everyone can keep moving around the city.
