What car parking will be provided for affected property owners/occupiers during the construction period?

The project team is working with the Chamber of Commerce and the Southend Business Group to engage their expertise, and ensure it'll be 'business as usual' as much as possible. We're gathering information on how people transit into, through, and out of Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai - Lower Hutt city. And we're looking at where people park, how long they park and for how many days.

This information will assist us in finding the most appropriate solutions for the transition period during construction, as well as opportunities to encourage a change in how we access our city centre for work and play in the future. Working with the residents and users of our city is key to creating an action plan that's tailored to the city we're in, keeping us thriving throughout this project. Based on this input the project team will minimise disruption to users by putting in place conditions for how the work is carried out.
